The first wave of Brickarms Series 4
Series 4: Wave 1 was released early in the Spring of 2009. It introduced edged weaponry, ammunition clips, and the Universal clip.
Wave 1 of Series 4 included 14 weapons, including:

The Universal Clip, shortened to the 'U-Clip,' is an accessory that is likened to two minifig-hands, connected to each other at opposite ends. This design allows them to connect two accessories normally gripped by a minifigure together, such as a gun with a bayonet-equipped barrel, or a chain of ammunition. This accessory was originally suggested for attachable bayonet accessories by a forums member named jzlspike, although the idea caught fire when suggested by another member, Bernsten, for attachable scopes. Mr. Badger prototyped the U-Clip by cutting up two bipods, and attaching their clips at opposite ends. Will eventually prototyped the official U-Clip along with the Brickarms bayonet accessory. It was finally released in April 2009 with Series 4.
